1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Melolist application and this website (collectively, the “Service”). “We”, “us”, and “our” mean Melolist.
By downloading, browsing, installing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. License to Use the App
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes, in accordance with these Terms and the Google Play rules from which you obtained it.
You may not:
- Copy, distribute, sell, sublicense, lease, or commercially exploit the App.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, modify, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except as permitted by applicable law.
- Create unauthorized derivative works based on the App.
- Circumvent or interfere with security features or technical restrictions.
- Use the App in violation of applicable laws or third-party rights.
All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
3. Description of Service
Melolist is a media player and discovery application that lets users search for, discover, and play publicly available online content, including content provided through third-party platforms such as YouTube. Features may include background playback, synced lyrics, music videos, playlists and library, podcasts, Android Auto, picture-in-picture, an equalizer, and adaptive themes.
The App does not host, own, or control third-party content. Videos, audio, images, thumbnails, titles, channel information, and similar materials remain the property of their respective owners.
Availability depends on third-party services and may change, become unavailable, or be restricted at any time.
Third-party content. Melolist provides discovery and playback of content made available through third-party services. Melolist does not claim ownership of that content and does not guarantee availability, accuracy, or continued access.
4. YouTube & API Services
Melolist may use YouTube API Services and other third-party services for search, metadata, playback, and related features.
Use of YouTube-powered features is also subject to:

- Google Privacy Policy
- Other policies governing YouTube API Services
YouTube and other platforms may modify, restrict, or discontinue their APIs at any time. That may affect Melolist’s features.
5. Acceptable Use
Use Melolist only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms and applicable third-party terms. You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of third-party rights.
- Copy, distribute, download, record, or extract third-party content in a way that infringes owners’ rights or the source platform’s terms.
- Circumvent DRM, technical protection measures, or access restrictions.
- Use bots, crawlers, scrapers, or other unauthorized methods to extract information from the App or third-party services.
- Reverse engineer or modify the App except as permitted by law.
- Interfere with, overload, or attempt unauthorized access to the App or related systems.
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of content accessed through Melolist complies with the law and the rights of content owners.
6. Copyright & DMCA
MELOSTARA TECHNOLOGY LLC respects the intellectual property rights of copyright owners. If you are an owner or authorized representative and believe content accessible through Melolist infringes your copyright, contact us with enough information to identify the work and the content at issue.

Because Melolist may surface content from third-party platforms, we may also refer complaints to the relevant platform.
7. Subscriptions, Payments, and Renewals
Melolist may offer optional Premium subscriptions (weekly, monthly, yearly, or other plans). Premium may include removal of advertisements and other features described in the App.
- Payment is charged to your Google Play account upon confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled under Google Play subscription terms.
- Your account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Manage or cancel in Google Play account settings.
- Cancellation generally takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Prices may vary by region and are shown in the App before purchase.
- Refunds, where applicable, are handled by Google Play under its policies.
Availability and features of Premium may vary by country, platform, or App version.
8. Advertising
The free version of the App is supported by advertising from third-party providers, including Google AdMob.
By using the free version, you agree that advertisements may be displayed. A Premium subscription may remove advertising as described in the offer.
We do not control and are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party advertisers.
9. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, logos, user interface, and software (excluding third-party content played through it), is owned by us or licensed to us and protected by intellectual property laws. Melolist is not distributed as open source.
Except as expressly permitted by law, you may not reproduce, modify, distribute, publicly display, sell, or otherwise exploit any part of the App without our prior written permission.
Third-party content and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
10. Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how information may be collected, used, stored, and processed.
Melolist may use Google Play, Google AdMob, Firebase, YouTube, and other providers. Your use of those services is also subject to their terms and privacy policies.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
Disclaimer. The App is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
We do not warrant that:
- The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
- The App will be compatible with every device or OS version.
- Any particular feature will always remain available.
- Third-party services or APIs will remain available or unchanged.
- Any particular video, audio, or other third-party content will always be available or suitable for a particular purpose.
Your use of the App and third-party content is at your own risk.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MELOSTARA TECHNOLOGY LLC and its developers, operators, affiliates, licensors, and service providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, revenue, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App or third-party content.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
13. Third-Party Services
The App relies on and may link to Google Play, Google AdMob, Firebase, and content platforms such as YouTube.
Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their content or practices. Changes to their APIs may affect Melolist.
14. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App, where permitted by law, if you violate these Terms, misuse the App, create security or legal risks, or if we discontinue the App.
Where reasonably practicable we may give notice; we may act immediately when needed to protect the App, users, third parties, or our rights. Upon termination, the license ends and you must stop using the App.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes take effect is acceptance of the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by law. If you do not agree, stop using the App.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts having jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by law.
