1. App Access

Melolist is free of charge to download from Google Play. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. We use that information to provide and improve the Service. We do not share your information except as described here.

When you use Melolist, we grant you a limited license to access and use the App for personal or commercial purposes, subject to the Terms of Service and the Google Play store rules. You may not copy, republish, or mine the App or its data without our prior written consent.

2. Data Deletion and Access

Library items, playlists, watch or listen history, lyrics cache, equalizer presets, theme settings, and similar records are stored on your device, not in a Melolist cloud account. You can delete this data locally in the App or by clearing app storage in Android settings. That action cannot be undone.

3. Information Collection

For a smoother experience we may use certain identifiers on your device, such as an Android advertising ID. That information stays on the device unless a third-party SDK described below processes it.

The App uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you. Their policies apply in addition to this one:

4. YouTube API Services

Melolist uses YouTube API Services. By using Melolist, you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service.

Required disclosure. This app uses YouTube API Services. In addition to this Privacy Policy, Google’s Privacy Policy applies to data processed through YouTube API Services.

If you sign in with a YouTube or Google account, account-related data may be processed to provide subscriptions, likes, watch history, recommendations, or library features, subject to the permissions you grant and the policies of Google and YouTube.

5. How We Utilize the Information We Collect

We use personal information collected through the Services for the purposes below. If we use it in other ways, we will tell you. You may withhold information from third parties for marketing, or limit our use to the original purpose. Restricting use may make some features unavailable.

• To provide the Services: device and contact details needed to deliver playback, lyrics, videos, podcasts, playlists, Android Auto, picture-in-picture, equalizer, and themes.
• To provide customer service: when you email us with questions or feedback.
• To enforce terms and policies: to keep the App safe and uphold these terms.
• Service-related communications: administrative or account messages where we have a contact method.
• Legal and regulatory compliance: tax and other business obligations.
• Personalization: preferences, history, and recommendation-related features you enable.
• Research and development: how you interact with the App, so we can improve it.
• Marketing: contact information for communications and, where permitted, targeted ads (including AdMob on the free tier).

If an error occurs, we or third-party products (such as Firebase) may collect Log Data from your phone. This may include IP address, device name, OS version, app configuration, time of use, and similar statistics.

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 16.
